How to Configure your Zoho account as POP in Outlook

You can configure your Zoho account in Outlook as IMAP and POP. Zoho is a great enterprise app and you can use it for business purpose and you can integrate it with your Outlook account also.

STEPS TO CONFIGURE YOUR ZOHO ACCOUNT AS POP IN OUTLOOK

You can follow steps to configure your Zoho account as POP in Outlook:
  1.  First, from the Settings menu in your Zoho mailbox, you need to select POP Access under Mail Accounts and choose enable POP.
  2.  After that launch the Outlook application and then open the Tools menu.
  3.  From the menu select Account Settings, and then choose Email Accounts and click Email.
  4.  Now click New to open the Add new email account window.
  5.  Select Manually configure Server settings or Additional Server Types, and then click on Next.
  6.  After that select Internet Email in the window on your screen and click Next.
  7.  Now you need to enter the following information:
1. User Information
  •  Your Name: Enter your display name as you prefer.
  •  E-mail Address: Enter your Zoho email address.
2. Account Type: Select POP3
3. Server Information for Organization users:
  •  Incoming mail server: poppro.zoho.com
  •  Outgoing mail server: smtp.zoho.com
  •  Username: yourname@yourdomain.com
  •  Password: Enter your Zoho account password.
4. Server Information for Personal users:
  •  Incoming mail server: pop.zoho.com
  •  Outgoing mail server: smtp.zoho.com
  •  Username: yourname@zoho.com
  •  Password: Enter your Zoho account password.
8. Now, select Remember Password.
9. After that click More Settings, for advanced configuration details. Now select Outgoing Server from the dialog box on your screen.
10. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
11. Then select Use same settings as my Incoming server option.
12. Select Advanced to specify the port details for the POP and SMTP servers.
13. Incoming Server (POP3): Enter 995
14. Select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
15. Outgoing Server (SMTP): Enter 465
16. Select SSL from the drop down for encrypted connection
17. Select Leave a copy of messages on the server if you prefer to keep messages in Zoho Mail also.
18. Now click Ok to save the settings and exit to the Add new email account window.
19. Then select Test Account Settings to check the settings for incoming and outgoing servers. You need to ensure you have a good working internet connection and that permission are set to allow Outlook to access the internet.
20. Once the tests are successfully completed, you will see Outlook displaying the dialog below.
21. Now you can select Close and Finish to save the configurations and exit.
